A SPECIAL TWO DAY EXHIBITION BY THE STUDENTS OF PRINCE OF WALES PUBLIC SCHOOL IN CONJUNCTION WITH BRIAN RIDEOUT'S CEREMONY EXHIBITION

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9TH,  5 - 8PM
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10TH,  12 - 6PM

Evans Contemporary is pleased to present SPIRIT SCULPTURES, a special two day exhibition of sculptures produced by the students of Prince of Wales Public School in Peterborough, Ontario.

Working with local artist Sharon Thorne, students in grades two, three, and four classes utilized recycled materials to create sculptures as a way to face their concerns and trepidations. Reflecting on these fears, the students assembled totems to assist with personal anxieties  and express creativity.

SPIRIT SCULPTURES is a two day, special event, and shares the gallery with Brian Rideout's CEREMONY exhibition.

This special exhibition is organized by the Prince of Wales Parent Council, Sharon Thorne, Artists in Education Program, and Laurie Westaway.
